Work with me

I invite you to get in touch to discuss a bespoke commission, a unique collaboration, a place at your event, or a private group booking.

Each piece of work begins with a conversation; a chance to explore ideas, materials, and the setting in which the work will live. Whether you are looking for a one-off basket, a shared creative experience, or something more collaborative, you are very welcome to reach out.

An elderly woman with gray hair in a bun, wearing a brown sweater and colorful socks, is sitting on a rug and weaving strands of straw or similar material in a cozy room with wooden walls and shelves. A table behind her holds a bouquet of yellow daffodils, a stack of dark chocolate cakes, mugs, and various baskets.

Bespoke Commissions

Each commissioned piece is shaped through conversation. A meeting of intention, material, and place.

I create one-off baskets using locally sourced willow, designed to be both functional and enduring. Whether you are seeking something practical, sculptural, or deeply personal, we begin by exploring your needs and the context in which the piece will live.

Commissions are made slowly and with care, honouring traditional techniques while responding to the present moment.

Collaboration

I welcome collaborative projects that bring together craft, land, and shared creative vision.

This might take the form of working alongside artists, makers, land-based practitioners, or organisations to create something site-specific or collectively imagined.

Collaboration allows basketry to move beyond the individual object and become part of a wider story.

If you have an idea or a feeling you’d like to explore together, I’d be glad to hear from you.

Private Bookings

Private group or one to one sessions offer a more intimate and personalised experience of learning basketry.

These can be arranged for friends, families, small groups or individuals who want to spend time making something by hand. Sessions are relaxed, supportive, and adapted to the group’s pace and interests.

Together, we create not only baskets, but a shared experience rooted in connection to each other and to the materials.

  • "I loved the workshop. It was so relaxing and soulful to weave round the table by the open fire. Lisa is a wonderful teacher - patient, encouraging and knowledgeable. Looking forward to the next one."
